I totally support the turning off the PC when done using it thing, for different reasons. My desktop generates the equivalent heat of a small sun, so turning it off allows me to also turn off the air conditioner.
…I’m still not sure if that clears the memory or not. Depends on your UEFI settings I guess. Lol
I always turn off my work PC when I’m not using it. I never turn off my personal PC because I’m never not using it 
(I’m always at least playing music on it)
I wish I could turn off my air conditioner but Mother Nature in Michigan is just not giving into Spring just yet:>) Tee hee!! Leave the PC’s on for more heat!!!
