What is Progress Results?

Sounds about right.

So I'm reading through payroll documentation yesterday in our Vista 8.03 system, and they make mention of using a Progress Results application to create payroll-related reports.

Any idea if this application is even around anymore? Is anyone using it? Or is that just old documentation that hasn't been pulled yet?

At the very least, it did identify that I need to do this 'create links to employees' function in order for tables to link properly...

The last post I find on here dates back to 2005. *facepalm*
I'm not familiar with it. If you have the links created, you should be able
to query the pr tables like any normal ones via a baq or whatnot.

My CAM dug this up for me today:

Progress Results is a Progress report writing tool that is no longer supported as of the 8.0 release of Vantage and Vista. Vista would have support for it at the 6.x releases since it took on the Vantage framework. As of 8.0, Crystal is the reporting tool (until SSRS became available as an alternative).
