What tool should be used for REST API development?

I will develop some API in E10. Is Postman, introduced in Epicor ERP Rest Implementation, the best development tool?

Postman is just for testing your REST calls… you can develop in whatever framework or language you want.

I am using Javascript with JQuery in a plain text editor (Brackets).

And for OData, just regular Excel.
