Where is Sales Gross Margin getting Calc_LineCost doesnt match

Hello,

When running the Sales Gross Margin report we find the vast majority of job cost match what the SGM report displays under Calc_lineCost. In certain instances it doesnt. SGM might show 100$ and job tracker shows 50$ as act cost for example. In some cases this delta can result from mfg-var/WIP or other misc timing issues/errors. Often SGM will match part transaction history tracker for mfg-stk transactions.

I have an extremely simple job that consists of 2 operations and one material issuance. SGM shows a higher Calc_LineCost then job tracker act cost and part transaction history tracker(which matches job tracker). No labor edits made on the job, all material issued and operation qty worked to exact amount, all transaction occurred before mfg receipt. No MFGVAR or outstanding WIP(job completed and closed last month however I dont see anything suspect with the job that would lead to it). Usually with enough hunting I can track down why the two cost differ, in this case no such luck.

So, my question is where is SGM pulling Calc_LineCost from? secondly, besides job tracker, part transaction history tracker, work in process report where should I be looking to identify where these cost are coming from? Inventory wip reconciliation seems to match job tracker in some areas but also displays a value close to SGM but off by a few dollars under grand total however this is double the job tracker act. I am thinking it is more of a timing issue of when capture cos/wip is run and when SGM is ran. If so, what is the correct sequence?
