Where'd the Web Services go?

OK, I'm a moron. In your Epicor\mfgsys80 folder, there's a folder named
"WebServices". In this folder is the elusive program for which I was
searching: WS-Configuration.exe

You run this program to select which web services you wish to install on your
server. You MUST rerun this program for every patch you apply. I ran this
program and installed a few web services. I tested to see if I could call up
the description by entering this in my browser:

http://vantageServer/VantageServices/PartService.asmx

and voila, up it came with all of the methods available. I haven't tried
sending or retrieving yet (too close to the weekend) but it appears that there
is a gateway there for data management in Vantage.

When I updated to 806F, there was a web services update as well. It is no
longer there. In fact, there is nothing relating to web services in the
download area or documentation area except the WS Developers Kit.

I want to play with web services but now I have no idea on how to install
them. I sure hope that the appearance of Service Connect has changed the role
of web services for Vantage...
