How do I limit closing to one person? Is there a security setting? I
looked under job entry and it does not appear as one of the sub-securable
options. By procedure we have one person in accounting closing all jobs but
once in a while someone else either accidentally or by mis-education does
it.

Thanks for your help,

Todd,

The only way we handle it is by security. "Closing" a job should be an
accounting function after there are no longer purchase order receipts or
returns, and accounts payables are completed, etc. You can limit the
closing of a job to one person outside of the system manager. If you
have Production Control "Complete" the job, then the job no longer shows
up on work queue, etc.

Is there any way to identify who closed a job? This is not in
the job audit
or anywhere else I can find. Somone is closing jobs prematurely
as opposed
to "completing" them. We would like to find out who to
"educate".

Thanks,
