Whse and Bin defaults - able to set at a higher granularity than

Iâ€™m sure something could be crafted on a pre-processing directive and a UD table for lookup upon Receipt.

Have a UD table with your Class and lookup the class and assign the warehouse appropriately via the BPM.

I was hoping for a way to set the defaults at a lower level, say inventory class (I checked this and could not find a warehouse setting).
I checked Part Maintenance and couldn't get any of the warehouse choices there to force a default at receipt entry.

I doesn't look like defaults can be set at any level other than Company Config or Plant Maint., but I wanted to see if I was missing anything.

Um, the primary bin on the part should work...Maybe there is a setting in the AMM module that won't let you do this.

We don't have the AMM module and we can do this all day long so I find this a little bizarre.

A coworker would like me to post this question:

Does anyone know if there is a way to set the Warehouse and Bin defaults for Receiving parts and materials at a higher level of granularity than the Plant Maintenance level?
