Windows 2003 and Vantage

I don't remember having to do anything with user files on Win2003.

Did you use prorest or resore the actual files to a new folder?
If the later do you need to run prostrct repair in ProEnv?

Ok, I am drawing a blank because it has been so long since I have had to do
this, I am running into a new installation on windows 2003.

I know there is a setting that deals with user files and you need to turn it
off so all users use the same files.

The reason is that I have restored a copy of the database, and I can see the
files sitting there, but open edge cannot see them and doesn't think they
exist.

Shadow Copy is not enabled, I just need to know where this setting that I
can't remember is...

Anyone?
