I am running it with 6.0 on three different machines and have no problems.

Lori,

We tested Windows 7 for a few months and it worked great. It loaded and ran
faster than on the same machine which previously was XP.

I did have one issue with configuration which required me to change a folder
in the config. I'll try to find that for you tomorrow.

So far I have 2 issues with Windows 7 and 8x

1. Information Worker won't install completely.
2. Windows 7 doesn't like the Crystal parameter date selector. When I click on the calendar icon all I get is a script error.

My first guess for this would be that it has something to do with internet explorer security settings.

We are currently running Windows 7 on three computers that run Vantage
8.03.408b. We are not experiencing any problems so far and are
considering moving all computers to Windows 7 because everything is
running so much faster than it does on the Vista machines.

It appears that I have made a mistake. We are experiencing issues with
some of the Vantage reports in version 8.03.408b using Crystal XI r2 and
Windows 7. I will let everyone know when I have a solution. SAP is
quick to point out that this version of Crystal Reports is considered a
legacy product now. I have not tried to run any of the reports using
the latest version.

the users machine and run the msi from a command prompt as the
administrator. This took a lot longer to perform the installation, but
it did solve the problem.

We have had some problems. So far, there is nothing that has not been fixable. Epicor has advised us to move to a higher version to take care of some of the issues, but we are reluctant to take the time for that, and we have been able to resolve everything so far. We are on Vista 8.03.403.

I just switched over myself to Windows 7. The only issue I have run into
was ODBC. For 10.1B driver I have a Registry Key I need to merge on XP and
I had to make a small adjustment for Windows 7 and then it worked fine,
otherwise no issues.

That is interesting. I was able to merge the registry key without an
issue and everything has run well.

Been running windows 7 rc and had no problems. Been using windows 7 Pro since it came out and again have had no problems. Overall very stabley and extremely reliable. Knock on wood have not had one blue screen of death. Without a doubt superior to vista and (some would argue) better then XP.
