Another method is make your win95 machine an FTP file server. You can
download free FTP server software. This way you won't have to bother
with LAN connection ect...

Hey network gurus

I am trying to connect a new Windows XP Pro machine to an old Windows 95 machine so that I can transfer files. I would like to hook them up using peer-to-peer through my NICs. I am not having any luck. Any suggestions?

Make sure they're in the same Workgroup and IP subnet.
