not identical issue, but we experienced 4GL stops when running capture on700b on field length - this time it was shiptoTerrList that required us to clear the field and run a special .r program to rebuild.
issue was similar with field exceeding the max length - in reality that was not the case or the capture program has fields defined too small and not matching schema
