Have you looked at using an attachment for the specs for the part. Might have to have some custom code to link this to the sales order??

We are currently on Epicor version #9.05.700A.

When we upgraded from 9.04 to 9.05 in May 2012 we ran into a problem with invoicing and with the WIP/COS capture due to our part descriptions being too long.
