b_ordway is spot on whenpointing you to PartTran.TranType. In addition, if you are referring to financial transactions. You may want to look at these TranTypes as well

ADJ-SUB - Adjustment to Job Cost Subcontract.
DMR-SUB - DMR to subcontract.
INS-SUB - Inspection to Job Subcontract.
PUR-SUB - Purchased receipt to Subcontract.

I would start by looking at the the PartTran table - TranType field.

xxx-MFG (adding to WIP)
MFG-yyy (coming out of WIP)
WIP-MFG (job to job)
MFG-WIP (job to job)
