Work Order Costs

Nope. We didn't change anything. I didn't notice until this month end trying to figure out why there was so much in the variance account.

parts and you ship or put to stores 9 but had disp. the DMR for the
one pc as Rejected before you ship or posted the good parts ... the
total value of the 10 is used for the total value of the 9 good
pieces.... This has worked for a long time... but I have just
noticed that it hasn't work like that lately. The DMR would be
disp. before the good parts would be pulled on packing slips or put
to stores but the cost associated with the parts on the DMRs that
would have been rejected have stayed on the work order... so that
when you close the job the cost goes to the variance account. Has
any one else noticed this and does any one know why Vantage is doing
that????????
