Workcenter Master File 'Use Estimates' (6.1)

I am looking for real-life comments on the Use Estimates option in the Work
Center Master Files. What do you see as limitations/benefits in using this
option?



In our case we use Labor = Burden and frequently run multiple jobs where the
quantities can vary significantly. In the past, we have used a custom report
to refigure the number of hours to the job based on quantity.



Which quantities is Vantage using for the quantities in the use estimates
options. Does it rely on quantities entered by the Employee in Labor Entry?
Does it factor in quantities already completed?
