XL Connect - Hopefully Simple Question

We are working out the details of changing our fiscal calendar from November 1 - October 31 to January 1 - December 31. For Fiscal Year 2024, we already had period 11 and 12 setup for September and October. However, we are now having to establish November and December as period 11 and 12. We’ve been advised to use the Fiscal Year suffix and have it working OK in Pilot. However, we have some reports generated by Excel (XL?) Connect and we have concerns about how the suffix will show up. We have an open ticket with EpicCare but they’ve not been able to advise. I don’t know the first thing about it but I understand all the reporting/dashboarding/SQL tables etc. Is there a place I can go to review what will show up in the Excel Connect reports? Is that set up outside of Epicor? I just don’t know anything about it. We evidently can’t use our XL Connect in Pilot… only Production.

If I’m understanding your question, you will need to bring another filter to the XL Connect formulas/queries and add “Fiscal Calendar suffix” and this will allow you to “select” November and December; be aware that some datasets may not have that field available but pretty sure 98% of the financials will do.
