XML files in server log directory

I’ve got LOADS of XML files in the our server log directory containing intquein records going all the way back to when we implemented Epicor. Any idea what these are and if i can delete them? There are like 600 thousand files :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

I believe this is what you are missing (from the Admin Console):

I re enabled it to change the number, but it wasn’t even turned on. So i feel like that is not it.

Is it possible that another environment is writing there?

Oh its possible  , let me validate first to make sure nothing else is pointed there.

What’s in the files?

Avalara writes tons of xml files to EpicorData if you have “debug” mode on, but I think the file names are different than what your pic shows…

Nothing else appears to be pointed there that i can tell

As i said in the OG post, the files seem to contain intquein records. Here is a screenshot of the contents.

Definitely Intercompany records. A file is created every time the task kicks off.

So are these good to delete since these have processed? How can i keep these files under control to not balloon up into the hundreds of thousands.

When I was on SaaS, I believed they had a PowerShell script running to delete (almost) all log files after some number of days. (90 maybe)
