Access optional Report Filter in report

I have a report with an optional Filter and 2 Options.
I want the selected filter value to show in report header. I see the 2 options - which I’ve added to the header, but I cannot find how to add the report FILTER.

Yes and this is one way to do it. Create a customization for the BAQ Report parameter screen. You then create the necessary code to capture a value change for your filter fields and then update the dataView (using a field that is not used. Once this is done you will see the value in the ReportParams field (as shown below). If you would like I can provide a working code sample that will lay it out better. edvReportParam.dataView[edvReportParam.Row]["Character01"] = myFilterField.Value;

Thank you! I assumed since we were forced to use these ‘BAQ Report’ interfaces to create a report that they would have that functionality built in… I will try the custom code route.
