I don’t have any experience with the token or how it’s generated or how long it’s valid.
I would have to trace all that out to see what happens and if the token is updated when it does an authorization or something like that.

The CRE token is for your own gateway, is that right? it’s not a token for the customer… that’s what I am gathering… as you can tell, not a ton of understanding on my part of the internals/architecture of this service.
I’ve only seen them expire during an upgrade for CRE. I didn’t manage that but my recollection was that it was a file (could be wrong) and that file was used to create tokens for each customer. There was an update program that ran for it. Joey handled all that, but that’s what I remember.
