Hello , our company use gmail to do company email service , i want to set smtp to epicor via gmail , but i get this error :
: 5.7.0 Authentication Required. Learn more at
at System.Net.Mail.MailCommand.CheckResponse(SmtpStatusCode statusCode, String response)
Have any issue for help?
I believe you have to go into the gmail account and enable “Allow Less Secure Apps”.
It would probably be better to use an internal mail relay that redirects to your mail server.
You can do it in Company setup as mentioned above. After you update the fields in Company Setup, be sure to restart the Task Agent. I have attached a guide showing how to setup G Suite for SMTP servers. I have done this before and it does work. Be sure for your issue, you read #3 in my attachment.
