Kinetic 20245.1 Now Available!

Well, not for server 2022 per your picture, but regardless, I am glad you posted the heads up. Will keep this in mind.

I mean when it comes to the application server, previously they allowed 2016 & 2019 for the application server with certain versions of SQL server.

What is funny though is that they kept the blurb about 2012R2 no longer being supported and how to work around that change but don’t mention dropping 2016 or 2019, both of which are still in support from MS. Server 2016 is not EoL until January 2027 & Server 2019 is not EoL until January 2029.

Wonder if there are sql scripts that run better on the newer versions, which prompted them to drop the older version.

Oh OK, I see. (I was thinking, “you mean SQL 2017, right - not 2016?”)

But no you mean the OS. Sorry.

Well, I was more concerned over the SQL version lol.

Yeah, for me SQL version doesn’t matter, since we don’t use SQL for anything not Epicor related we have the SQL Runtime licensing from Epicor so upgrading that version is free, having to do my server infrastructure along with Server CALs, not so much.
