We are working on an approach for this! I definitely heard this a few times.
The timing is goofy though.
It will be in Pilot November 17th for use mere days after a major version change from Epicor goes to live.
We have a 200 point test plan for major version changes that would have covered many of the items. It really is too bad it did not come to Pilot a few weeks ago.
Based on the custom code report we are probably okay but I prefer trust -and- verify.
So telling my bosses that a few days are needed to be sure everything will work as intended.
Epicor must just love testing ![]()
Major version change November, Linux Containers a few weeks after that and then the sunsetting of Classic which will require major version testing itself.
Right?! Talk about timing too as I guess Epicor doesn’t calibrate the holiday’s nor think their customers have their own internal projects.
