On the off chance someone in this gorup has run into this I will post a desparate question.
Yesterday we switched to a new dedicated domain controller server running Windows-2003 Server and handling Activie Directory.
Now on our plant floor where all the PCs are Win-98 (until we replace them for Vantage 8.0) we can't print to a laser printer shared by a Win-98 PC. This is in our shipping dept. and it is month-end week so they are getting pretty hot at me down there.
I have already installed the DSclient.exe (AD client for win-98) on these PCs and that seemd to work last night but this morning they are back to being prompted for a password everytime they try to access the shared printer from the other PCs.
Has anyone here ever run into this or seen a solution (other than upgrading the PCs to Win2K)?
Thanks,
Todd Caughey
