As a suggestion, you could put the .bat file for cleaning out the vantage working folder on the client to run at startup. This way, every time the machine is restarted, it would clean that folder.

This always happens to me also.
The user needs to be out of Vantage when running a process to clear the
vantage work directory. There are a few files in the work directory
that are created when you log into vantage. This will happen no matter
what screen you are in. The batch program would have to be changed to
only delete certain "kinds" of files, or the user could just log out of
Vantage before running it.

You said you "created an icon to a .bat that deletes everything
from" the VntgWK... folder. Does the user have to be out of Vantage
to run it?
Some of my people are getting errors when trying to delete what is
in that folder while still on Vantage.
