Sales Order Pick List

What version are you on?

I believe I modified it to show on hand. I believe it doesn't show if the SO is on HOLD,

The Sales Order Pick List dose display the On Hand but it dosent care if that number is less than what needs to be shipped. We tried adding a filter to say if if on hand is less than ship qty dont show but that only omits the line now I get a report with missing lines instead or the hole order not showing up. wondering if anyone else came up with an easier way or how they use this to pick

We can have the shipper wasting his time trying to pick things that aren't here. So my question is are we running the wrong report or missing a step somewhere like fulfillment work bench.

I agree with Josh below. What do you do if you have three orders for the same part with a ship quantity of 5 for each order and you have 8 on-hand. Unless you allocate or do some kind of customization, your sales order pick list with compare each order of 5 to the on-hand of 8 and think each of the three are good.

If you send it through reservation / allocation & the picking process in
the fulfillment WB there is a different form that you can print from
there.

I was thinking something like that maybe i just dont understand it to well but if I go to fulfillmentWB and order Fulfillment Tab choose 100% fulfillment do i run reserve and release for picking or just release for picking? Or do i print pick tickets under action (grayed out)

Not saying it was the best way to do it, but I just added a subreport that brought in the on hand quantity for each line. Having a number in place made it very easy to breeze through the list.
