I’m quite sure it pulls the method. Also, I think I just ruled out the configurator being the problem because if I create a part-on-the-fly both on the quote and on a job and use a part that has a part record to get details, there’s still a difference.
Epicor support reviewed the example I gave them in their training environment and discovered that there is a rounding issue with hours on the quote even though hours are displayed rounded to two decimals. Apparently the hours are not being rounded on the quote before costs are calculated like they are on the job. Problem number PRB0289775 has been created.
