My grandma was Amish, so I like to introduce myself as an Amish IT consultant who can provide simple solutions.

I am consultant with 20 years experience managing networks, servers, phone systems, databases, virtualization, backups, etc. When I say “manage” I don’t mean that I managed staff who did this, I mean that I am the one who actually deploys, maintains, and upgrades these systems. I like digging in to the nitty gritty details.

Today I consult for five manufacturing companies with a heavy focus on their uptime and security. The task of customizing Epicor has fallen to me, so I have been learning and using Epicor 10 since early 2018. Migrating 20 years of data from Vantage 5.2 to Epicor 10.2 using DMT has taught me a lot about the inner workings of Epicor ERP, but I’m on this site because there is always so much more to learn.
