10.2 Consuming Stock Contention

Since upgrading to 10.2.400.8, I’m receiving the following often during shipment:

Transaction could not be completed because another contending process is consuming stock from this location. Try again in a few seconds or select a different inventory location.

(Erp.Services.BO.CustShipSvc.lineNegativeInventoryTest)

Has anyone else run into this issue?

Just experienced this today, did you ever get a resolution to this?

I do not recall any resolution. My advice today would be check the PartBinDeferred table for stuck records which should be able to be resolved with a datafix.
