I’m done pulling my hair out… Open-App with specific layer worked 2 weeks ago. Time to show to Customer, Get Error
here is no active menu available for the app DEMN2050 and layer LayerName combination.
I have all possible permissions. I can Open the app from the menu with the specified Layer.

I delete Layer from Parameters
Open from app calls base layer even though the menu ID I provided used desired Layer .
I had a similar problem with one of my customer. If I remember right, I Saved the layer as and renamed it. Then in menu maintenance, I’ve changed the layer used by the menu to replace with the new one.
After that, I was able to open the app with the right layer using the menuID
I didn’t try renaming but created a new layer, changed the Customization in Menu Maint and it still opens base layer. Menu is a UD Menu, I called it by Menu ID.

I have bartender labels that wont print now. Think I’m gonna have to pick my battles.
I also having this issue. I have a layer on the StartProductionActivityEntry screen, and I get the same “No active menu for the app ___ and layer ___ combination…”
Did you get this resolved or is it still an issue?
I also had to create a ‘V2’ copy of a Layer and publish it, then apply the new V2 layer in menu maintenance everywhere. Was the only thing that worked for me.
Thank you for your help. I did create a “V2” and am still getting the same error. Did you have to start from scratch with the layer and completely rebuild it rather than just saving a new layer and naming it xxxV2?
