I think it is also supposed to be once a month, but I still have to do my initial 25.2 install.
our users like it when the banner doubles up and you can only snooze one. ![]()
Well⦠we are technically done with the Live upgrade.
Now comes the small stuff. You know, Pilot, full regression testing, integrations, Test, Train, A-F, more testing, and just a completely reasonable amount of UAT before we let actual users near it.
Since this is the last time we will ever see Classic in production, we went a little nostalgic with the splash screen.
The tiny invader is the last surviving fragment of Classic.
Kinetic 2025.2.12 has entered the chat.

Our upgrade begins in 10 minutes⦠@jgiese.wci just knocked Quick Ship out, in seconds.
I am trying to get my replication back online since it failed this week. But this will be good practise for when I do the 25.2 upgrade in a few months.
Yeah I had to completely yank it to do the upgrade they are modifying columns I guess and that explodes
Nice! How do you customize the splash screen? Is it just an image file somewhere in the client directory?
You stick it in the client directly somewhere and then you reference the file and location in the sysconfig file.
During Christmas, and Thanksgiving we change the Splash Screen to different themes.
What we did is we just have them on a Share Drive ex \\fs\ErpAssets\Kinetic10Production_MES_Splash.png or something.
I always make sure our EpicorData directory is empty before I install upgrades. It seems to check everything in that structure to make sure the service account has access.
That makes sense ours are packed with ![]()
