3.0 to 4.0 or 3.0 to 5.0?

Your database must be converted from 3.0 to 4.0 before you can convert to
5.0

5.0 bugs are worked out and then going from 3.0623 to 5.0. An Epicor
instructor didn't think this was a bad idea. Anyone have any other
thoughts or experience with this jump?
