I suspect that yahoo is transferring some of its groups servers to the news
side in order to compensate for the increased traffic on the News site.

The 3-hr delay for posting to this board is severely limiting its
usefulness. I don't think it is purely Internet congestion because most
sites are very responsive. Was Yahoo (or the former eGroups portion)
affected by connections in New York? Are other boards so busy with messages
that their servers are overloaded? I am assuming the Vantage group
moderators have a contact at Yahoo. A report on the cause(s) and probable
time frame for respumption of even semi-timely posting would be very
helpful. I realize the moderators are volunteers and we are all very busy
dealing with things so please, this isn't urgent - just curious.
