We have a call open with support on a problem in 408B that is a
confirmed defect. In 405 we could use Job Adjustment and Adjust WIP to
manually fix WIP based on the vagaries of what actually happened on the
shop floor. So we could move parts on a job from step 30 to step 80
without having to deal with the in-between.
In 408B we're only able to use Adjust WIP on the current operation.
Other operations aren't available, and Vantage complains that "There has
been no quantity completed for this operation, move or adjustment not
available" if you manually enter or search for another operation.
Anyone else discover this feature? How do you manage WIP when it gets
out of sync with reality?
