You'll have to delete everything from the queue to start fresh.
In the past I've seen the queue handle WIP to FG's transactions. The
last operation on a job was Final and then the parts went to the
warehouse for storage/shipment. After the Final operation parts and
labor were reported, the shipping manager would go into the material
queue and process the items to stock. If I recall all he did was
click on the item (in the queue) and click the process button.
The "Receipts to MFG" screen pops up and he would complete it. Upon
clicking <ok>, the parts would go into the FG's warehouse.
It's a neat little tool to simplify repetive tasks. There are probably
a lot more examples of how others are using the material and work
queue's.
