6.0 with 9.1d on 2008 server (32bit) works just fine. I would assume 6.1 would work without issue as well, but the 2008 (R2) will cause you some issues with Progress as (R2) is 64bit only. The problem is with the Progress Explorer tool, but I did hear that you could point the Progress Explorer to a box that is running 32bit and manage to make it work.
