8,03.400 patch 408

When I go to actions Lot numbers it pulls up the same old lot entry screen just as read only.
There are no lots listed in there for a part, I have to do a search to select the lots available for the part. 2 extra steps & the added functionality they are talking about is not even there, what an improvement. Am I missing something, I liked it right on the part tracker.

I just restored my data base back to 407 and reinstalled the patch again
with the same results. I have a call in to support, but they did not have
408 patch installed yet. Ken are you on progress or SQL?

I'm on Progress (OpenEdge 10.1b). I've installed it on 2 different test
servers today and tried the part master search on both. I can search on both
servers. I have not tried searching anything else yet. Are you on SQL?

that if you try to opend the part master you get an error message and
when the screen opens you can not search for any parts. I also found
that the methods that I have setup show up as out of date and when you
try to fix them you get a lot number eror message not allowing you to
update them.

Please let me know if this is not just an install problem on my server.

customized you can try going to Customization Maintenance under System
Management-Utilities. Pull up Part Master and force validation.

Have already tried that. You get the error message before the screen loads
and again after the base is loaded if you hit the search. I have exported
the BPM and opened them with text editor and found the the ttpartlot is
embedded in the BPMs witch is no longer there in version 408

Problem
Prior to installing the 8.03.408 Service pack, the lot numbers for my parts
could be found in part tracker under a tab along the top of the screen. Now
that im on 8.03.408 that tab is not there? Where did it move to?
Resolution:
This changed with the release of SCR 54063 on service pack 8.03.408. This
removed the lot information from part tracker and part maintenance. The
information can now be found under the actions menu inside part tracker and
part maintenance. Inside here you now have expanded traceability with the
lot numbers for that part. The new Lot tracker screen allows you to see Bin
information, transaction history, and document links specifically for the
lot number you have selected. You can also see the Expiration date, First
Referenced date, and Last referenced date along with costing lot
information.
