8.X workstation specs

make sure you purchase computers preloaded with xp as going from 6 to 8 in
vantage is a jump in itself. we bought all of our machines with xp, we
didn't need them trying to learn another software package at the same time.

Look at the Part Tran table for the STK-MTL transaction type. Group by
Part and then create a summary field on the transaction date for "MAX
DATE". That should be your last date that this part was issued. (this
is using Crystal).

Something similar can be done with Report Builder.

Subject: [Vantage] V8 - Determinig Date Last Issued

Hello,

I our old system it would keep track of the last time a part was issued
to a job or sold to a customer in a field called Date Last Issued.

How can I obtain this same kind of information from Vantage?

We are trying to identify slow moving part numbers.

Thanks,

On a part by part basis, yes. However, if you want to see an entire
listing of parts and their last transaction dates a report is in order.
For example, if you wanted to run an Inventory Aging at quarter end so
that Finance can accrue for obsolescent inventory.

Thanks Mike!

If I wanted to create a BAQ for this, do you know if there is a MAX
equivalent when creating a calculated field?

Is anyone running Vantage 6.1 on Windows Vista? We attempted to install,
but the setup will not show the mapped drive.
