We're upgrading to 700 and when we try to log in to schema change it wont accept the manager password or any of the passwords of any of our security managers. Does anyone have any ideas? Of course support doesn't answer on a Saturday...

I scoured the 700 SP install guide and couldn't find that anywhere. The 700
install doc doesn't tell you to do a schema change at all, just the
instructions for the DB conversions...

Wow, somehow we missed that.

We upgraded our live environment based on recommendations from our
consultants. They and I didn't really feel we needed to do it in a test
environment. Other than us not finding the password for the schema change
for half an hour everything went great. Haven't had any issues reported as
of yet.

I'm gonna throw up the "rookie move" flag on this. Thankfully everything
did go great. If things hadn't gone well, I could have rolled the server
back to the bare metal backup I took a few minutes before kicking off the
upgrade but that would have been a pain.

Whoever said that at the conference was full of it. I'm running live on E905.700 build 14 and there are some pretty decent bugs in it. Still waiting on the "A" patch, but they can't tell me when it's due out.

Vic the problem is that you didn't see in the conference they said that
9.05.700 was DONE DONE DONE no errors what so ever. Nothing wrong at all.

Whoever said that at the conference was full of it.Â I'm running live on E905.700 build 14 and there are some pretty decent bugs in it.Â Still waiting on the "A" patch, but they can't tell me when it's due out.
