We are a seasonal business, and in order to encourage off season sales we
offer special terms to our customers. We will allow customers to make
purchases in November and December and the payments will be 1/3 due May 1st,
1/3 due June 1st, and 1/3 due July 1st. I cannot find a way to set up the
terms to accomplish this. I have tried putting in 3 payments with the first
payment being 6 months from invoice date and the monthly button being
checked. What happens is the first 1/3 will be due like we want it (May 1);
however the second 1/3 will be due 6 months later (November 1), and the last
1/3 will be due another 6 months later.
Does anyone else have this situation, or know of a way to accomplish what I
am looking to do? By the way we are on 5.2.
