Hi all
What methods can I use to see the format or layout of standard reports?
I have hardcopy, but I would like to compare the format and layout.
Please share your idea.

Not quite following but the user guides and tech references give you a good insight on how to modify existing reports, it that’s what you are asking.
If you are wanting to do some sort of comparison between an out of the box Epicor report and a pre-printed form, then, it’s the old print out a sample and hold it up to the light with the pre-printed from on top… method, to see how things line up.
Epicor used to have a service that actually sold pre printed forms that matched the out of the box layouts, but not sure if they do that anymore.
If Epicor has a folder or link that can download all the layouts or output, then user can compare the Epicor layout and hardcopy. For example, I have sales order form/ print out, I just open Epicor sales order layout which is a pdf, just open it and have a look. User can know which Epicor form can map their requirement better than user print preview and download.
Hello @edmundleung, The only way to get copies of the standard report output is to print them out, either using the Demo system or your Test environment (I’m assuming you have not gone live yet)
I am not aware of any default list… It would be handy to have though
Thanks Hally
I have pdf version from vendor, I am double checking them. But I check ‘report’, it seems still have other report that vendor didn’t give us. I guess other reports are not normal use. I try to run the report and generate it, it show error. So that I want to get a softcopy to check first, and it can’t generate the result, I let my vendor to fix it.
This was what I was meaning. For executing any of the reports in the system you are interested in select the Standard SSRS report style. Here is a screen shot of the invoice print.
This will give the standard output.
Thanks Hally, I will generate them that look like your example.
