Trying to dmt in Account segment values. According to the template builder, it needs an SegmentNbrName. However, there isn’t any guidance on what that is. The segment number for the one I manually put in is 1. But didn’t’ know if anyone had any input on what this was. Troubleshooting an error, I am getting to try to do this.
Chart, Division or Department
@JFM Are you saying it is chart, division, or department?
I’ve never done this in a DMT, but that seems to be the idea, it’s whatever you have in the COA. But it uses an intuitive ID (the name) rather than the (geeky) integer of the segment.
Personally I just paste-insert into the list view…
I figured it out. In @JasonMcD pic, where is says, Account, Plant, Department; mine is labeled Natural, Plant, Department. When I looked in Account Segment Values, and I did it by hand, it showed it as Natural Account. Why i put in natural Account in the DMT, it worked.
