We are using 2024.1.24 currently and I recently watched a webinar that talked about the Activity Tracking Detail to find what we are using and need to convert for Kinetic use.
I’ve enabled “Log Detail” in Activity Type Maintenance > Activity Type - 2 Menu ID.
However, when checking the Activity Tracking, I can select Activity Type - 2 Menu ID and see the activity, but the lower pane for the Activity Detail stay blank (No records available).
Are there other settings to get this to show who opens the items?
It only starts tracking the activity from when you turn it on . . . maybe check again later?
Correct, I have had this on for a few weeks now as I try to find what is going on with this screen. The first test I did right after was open the book listing and then go see if it showed that I opened it.
There is no result in the lower pane at all.
I haven’t gone back to it, but I had these notes:
I went back to it out of curiosity. I don’t know about you, but the upper grid jumps around like mad!
I happened to see that bottom grid populate exactly one time.
You might do better to make a BAQ off of the data.
So, the reason I’m so apathetic (sorry) is that I made a BPM for this purpose before there was such a thing as Activity Tracker. So I use my own screen for this.
I don’t track BAQs or BPMs, though, to be fair. That is a plus of this app. I forget about that.

I have rechecked the Activity Type Maintenance screen and its settings are set as the screen shot provided (Activity days 45 and Details days 30) already.
I did open a ticket with Epicor and they tell me it is likely a bug, but they don’t have my specific version to actually test it.
We checked the same settings as you suggested.
The patch level they have is working fine.
So I’m not sure if I am just misconfigured elsewhere or if it is a bug.
Might just wait until we patch up again.
I didn’t find it worked correctly until 2024.2, not sure which version you are on. Oh I see you are on 2024.1. Yeah may not work properly.

It does seem like I have it configured properly to work.
It just isn’t doing the things its supposed to.
