Adding Filters / Options to System Report

I know how to create a new style and modify the RDD for a System report AKA
Open PO Report..
I have the need to add further filters and options to the report. I would
rather NOT have to write a GIANT BAQ and a BAQ Report , is there a way to
add / report filters and options for the default report?
