By now I guess that everyone knows that Caesar Development has graciously
agreed to pay to get rid of the advertising in our eGroups mail (thanks
again, by the way!!). So why are the ads still showing up??
I've been monitoring the group that discusses the merger between Yahoo and
eGroups and there has been a LOT of discussion about the ads being moved to
the top of the mail. eGroups continues to maintain that "most users really
like the change" but ALL the discussion on the list has been negative.
Bottom line: eGroups has been deluged with groups ready to pay to get rid of
the advertising and its taking up to a week to get to everyone. As the
saying goes, "God, grant me patience, and give it to me RIGHT NOW!"
