I am in the midst of converting on a test platform from 4.0 to 5.2. I have
made it as far as 5.1. When I go into a job via job tracker and click on
the "Job" button I get a screen with all the fields blanked out (gray). I
do see check marks for the Check Offs and the status image "Closed" but
abosolutely everything else is empty. In particular the Hours tab page.
The Links page does show linked SO numbers. Back on the main job screen if
I right click on the part number and select Part Advisor then look at
OCmpleted Jobs for Part it does show jobs but the Unit Costs section is
empty. I can pull up a job details report and it shows costs and hours just
fine.
I have checked the security settings for Job Tracker and I am logged in as a
System Administrator with rights to see and do anything (god level) which is
what tech support suggested the issue was so that pretty much rules that
out.
So I figured I'd ask the real world side before I call them back (been
bugging them a lot lately). I know there are some big changes between 4.0
and 5.1 so wondered if there is some check mark or setting I should change.
Thanks,
