Alert System... Activate Alerts....Notify Users

Hello EpiUsers,

We are looking to set up a alert system for our users to be notified when a P.O., material, parts, or specific items arrive to our shop.

I was hoping to get some insight into best practices and what others have set up that has been successful.

We have a checkbox on the PO release for Hot material. It was manual until too many items were hot, so now I set it nightly for material that is late for a job.

There is a dashboard that shows receiving what we expect/hope shows up today and to sort those vendors first.

It does a popup in receiving that the item received goes into a red bin for receiving inspection.

We do not email about receiving on POs, but we do have an email alert when customer returns are received on RMAs.

We are trying to figure out what has worked and it sounds like you have a pretty good alert system rolling!

Have you check into Collaborate? Unfortunately, I cannot tell you much about it because we are still on E10.2.200, but it would work for you in Kinetic. My understanding is that you can set up alerts of various events.
