Alerts to the system

I don't know of any standard alert like this. It would be a nice feature, however.

Is it possible to add alert to the system if recieving inspection for
a particluar part or from partcular supplier is failed.

What we would like to have is
if inspection is failed, for next 5 po's the purchaser should be
flagged with message that inspection is required for this supplier.
this Supplier is under probation group.
