I’m starting small here with these requests. CTEs are OK, but sometimes I would love to use a temp table to chug through or stage data. We avoid putting any object in the Epicor database and have a separate database to store view to access through an external data source to get to those views.
Using the Framework to create these would allow these solutions to work for SaaS customers and you wouldn’t have to try to duplicate Epicor Security, etc. BTW, we’re only talking about read-access here too, right?
