I am trying to get the system to make one of my Alternate Methods a default for certain parts. We have 2 sites that run production. Certain parts only run at certain sites. Is there a way to set a default Method on the part card? We don’t want to only put the site it runs at on the part card because there are times were we have to run a part that usually runs at one site at the other site.
@bafeurer you can set the Primary Alternate Method on the Part/Site/Planning Tab
I’ve used this for parts made in multiple sites. I also used the Site ID as the Alternate Method ID to keep things straight.
