When you go on Google or YouTube or ChatGPT, you get a box to type in. No matter what you do, you will not corrupt their database.
Armed with this vast knowledge of computers, I have seen coworkers (of any age) go and type into boxes in Kinetic and wonder why their record isn’t coming up - oblivious to what they are doing to the data.
Conversely, if you are in Excel, you know that everything you do is editing the data.
I think many people have a hard time discerning that input boxes in a database UI may be one OR the other – edit OR search (or both - think the part number field of Part Entry).
At first I thought, this dude has some monster strength to dislodge a CRT with a plastic keyboard in one go! But I see the monitor is 49% hanging over the edge already. Also the keyboard cord is not connected…
